1月28日，在今日的极客公园·创新大会2021上，蔚来创始人、董事长、CEO李斌表示，称蔚来的终极对手是苹果)，主要是两者都追求一个方向，所以未来可能既是队友也是对手。
「苹果造车不是秘密，从智能汽车需要的能力、资金和技术角度而言，苹果都是具备条件的。但是苹果关心的不仅仅是科技本身，还有科技与人文的结合。
在这方面，蔚来也在追求。大家都是一个发展方向，所以可能既是队友也是对手。」
谈及蔚来最近高市值话题，李斌表示对比2019年，现在压力更大。
市值高代表大家期待高，但事实蔚来汽车还处于早期阶段，可能有参与决赛的机会。」但我们还在赢取最终决赛的资格，因此现在压力比19年活下去还大。」
李斌坦言，虽然外界的期望不会压垮公司，但高期望也意味着公司一旦出错，引起的反弹会更大。
在如何引导公司往正确方面坚持，做对的事情，然后把对的事情做对，是需要思考的问题。「最好的决定都是在最困难时候做出，最差的决定都是顺境做出」，李斌称。
