Tesla raises prices in China and US

Information on $Tesla(TSLA.US)$'s official website in China shows that the prices of Model 3 Performance and Model Y Long Range and Model Y Performance have been raised by RMB 18,000 - 20,000.

The price of the Model 3 Performance has been raised to RMB 367,900, up RMB 18,000 from RMB 34.99 on March 10.

Model Y Long Range and Model Y Performance have been priced at RMB 375,900 and RMB 417,900 respectively, up RMB 18,000 and RMB 20,000 from RMB 357,900 and RMB 397,900 respectively on March 10.

After raising the prices of some Chinese models, Tesla raised prices in the U.S., ranging from $2,000 to $12,500. Model X Plaid models saw the most price increases, reaching $12,500. Model 3 standard range plus version increased by $2,000, while the Model 3 long range version increased by $4,000, or 7.84%, marking the largest price increase of all models.

On March 10, a version of the Tesla Model 3 and both versions of the Model Y saw prices raised by RMB 10,000 ($1,580).

This is the first time this year that the EV maker has adjusted vehicle prices in China, the last time being on December 31 of last year.
