TENCENT, BABA Plan Layoffs Next Few Weeks with Highest Rate 30%: Report

TENCENT (00700.HK) and BABA-SW (09988.HK) plan to dismiss their staff in the next few weeks, where the former projects to sack 10-30% jobs and the latter to cut about 30%, Chinese media cited sources.

BABA-SW will particularly lay off about 20% employees in its MMC unit, report furthered. So far, numerous business lines have decided on the layoff name list.
