[10:16] the concept of green electricity in Hong Kong stocks bucked the trend. Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology rose by more than 8%, China Resources Power Holdings and China Electric Power by more than 3%, and ENN Energy by more than 2%. Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology previously released results showing that the company's net profit in the first three quarters increased by 45.61% to 3.013 billion yuan compared with the same period last year.
[10:08] the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will announce its results today, with its share price falling more than 1% to HK $476.4 for the time being.
[10:05] Hong Kong education stocks fell again, with Yuhua Education falling more than 17 per cent, with the company announcing that it planned to raise HK $922 million through a rights issue of HK $4.19 (a discount of about 11.97 per cent from the previous day's closing price). Other education stocks, New Oriental Education & Technology Group online fell nearly 6%, New Oriental Education & Technology Group, China Oriental Education, Hope Education, China Education Holdings fell more than 4%.
[9:50] Technology stocks in the Hong Kong stock market were collectively lower this morning, with the Hang Seng Technology Index falling nearly 3 per cent at one point. Among them, Tencent, BABA, XIAOMI, JD Health and Alibaba Health Information Technology all fell by more than 2%, BYD Electronic by more than 4%, Baidu, Inc., Meituan, JD.com and Kuaishou Technology by more than 3%, and Bilibili Inc. by more than 5%.
