0055 GMT - Openpay likely has a very significant opportunity in the U.S., says Shaw and Partners. A recent investor briefing highlighted Openpay has multibillion-dollar total transaction value in the region, versus the current A$165 million TTV from Australia and the U.K. at the end of December 2020, it says. A key takeaway from the call is that there is likely a more than US$6.5 trillion total addressable market for buy-now-pay-later companies globally, with Openpay's share of this wallet estimated to be at around 15%, equating to an US$829 billion target market.
