$Microsoft Corp(MSFT.US)$ and $Advanced Micro Devices Inc(AMD.US)$ reported the latest earnings on Tuesday, and both exceeded analysts' expectations.

Amy Hood, Microsoft's finance chief, said during a conference call with analysts that she expects double-digit revenue growth and "healthy operating-margin expansion" for the full fiscal year
Microsoft rose 1.22% on Tuesday.

Earnings: $2.03 per share, adjusted, vs. $1.64 per share as expected by analysts, according to Refinitiv
Revenue: $43.08 billion, vs. $40.18 billion as expected by analysts, according to Refinitiv
Microsoft revenue grew 17% on an annualized basis, up from 12% growth in the prior quarter, according to a statement.
Microsoft said Azure revenue grew 50%. Microsoft doesn't disclose Azure revenue in dollars.
The More Personal Computing segment, containing Windows, gaming, devices and search advertising, generated $15.12 billion in revenue, which was up 14%.
AMD
Advanced Micro Devices reported fourth-quarter earnings and said it's expecting 2021 to be a good year for the company and is projecting full-year growth.
AMD rose 0.62% on Tuesday.

EPS: $0.52, adjusted, versus $0.47 according to Refinitiv consensus estimates
Revenue: $3.24 billion, versus $3.03 billion according to Refinitiv consensus estimates
AMD also provided a strong forecast for the current quarter of between $3.1 billion and $3.3 billion and said that it expects 2021 revenue would grow 37%. AMD's revenue in 2020 was up 45% year-over-year.
The biggest highlight for AMD this quarter was its enterprise segment which was up 176% year-over-year and up 13% from last quarter to $1.28 billion.
Analysts had expected adjusted earnings of 47 cents a share on sales of $3.02 billion.
