In Europe, the benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 Index valued at a record high. For the U.K. benchmark, FTSE 100 Index gained relatively modest. Here are some headlines for you to check for the last trading day this week:
1. Trump Agreed to Halt the Deal For Dec. 15 Tariffs
President Donald Trump signed off the U.S.-China trade deal agreement which was involved about $160 billion of consumer goods from China in the so-called phase one. The deal included a pact that China agreed to buy $50 million U.S. agricultural goods in 2020, along with energy and other goods, for an exchange of tariffs reduction on Chinese imports.

It’s not retail investors, but the farmers and agriculture traders who are most concerning with this issue. The yearlong negotiation made the global crop shipments turbulent, helping Brazil as a result.

2. Conservatives Prime Minister Boris Johnson Won the General Election
The Conservatives won a majority of the House of Commons in Britain, 364 of total 650 seats. This is the strongest performance of this party at an election since 1987. President Trump sent congratulation to Mr. Johnson on Twitter, saying that "Britain and the United States will now be free to strike a massive new Trade Deal after BREXIT. This deal has the potential to be far bigger and more lucrative than any deal that could be made with the EU."
