The Organization of Petroleum Exporting agreed to cut 2.1 million barrels a day last week. As the biggest member of OPEC, Saudi Arabia announced an additional cut at the meeting, the country which supplies 9.9 million barrels a day. However, oil production in Russia and Azerbaijan will likely to increase from the current level of about 1.5 million barrels per day, and other substitutions such as U.S. shale will keep growing much faster than world demand.

2. The Fed Would Consider buying Other Short-Term Treasuries If Necessary
The Federal Reserve would buy short-maturity bonds at the end of this year if its policy could not go through very well due to the financing pressures, said by Fed Chairman Powell. He also reiterated that QE will not be the end of the bond-buying plan, as the Fed aimed to increase the amount of cash in the financial system. But Powell also mentioned that the money market looks stable for the most recent weeks, therefore it may not be in action.
3. Wall Street Feels Optimistic About Mining Stocks
Mining stocks have been cheap for a while, as fossil fuels were blamed for climate change. Large mining stocks have dropped more than 50% from all-time highs. But things are gonna change:
