As of yesterday, Saudi Aramco has overtaken $Apple(AAPL.US)$ to become the world's most valuable company as the recent surge in oil prices that have boosted the energy giant this year. On the flip side, AAPL's shares have suffered in recent months as investors reassess lofty valuations in the tech sector due to the reversal in monetary policy and worries that inflation will weaken consumers' spending habits.

Here is Fundstrat's take on AAPL's volatile drop below the $150 level, as the chart is shown below.

According to Fundstrat, last October's lows near $138 may come after a drop to $150, and the real support seems to lie near $133, then $118. This latter level would represent a 50% retracement of the rally from 2020 and intersect the larger uptrend line connecting 2018 lows to 2020.
$118 may be a technical entry point for longs. Though AAPL may not need to drop to this level. AAPL longs should consider holding off on immediately buying dips.

Apple as one of the best-known companies in the world has made plenty of shareholders wealthier the past several decades, and Warren Buffett said he purchased $600 million of AAPL during a dip in this mid-March.
With the tech giant's market cap is going down, do you think it's time to buy Apple stock now? Please feel free to share your comments.

  • chicago4evashiiiit : of course they are it's a stable company so far with good leadership n inñovation talent they are in a one day two day tailspin that's all

  • Red__Bull : $Apple (AAPL.US)$ is facing temporary headwinds from several factors - supply chain, semiconductor shortage, China COVID lockdowns. Also, in the past, I've seen hedge funds, brokerages, etc. pillage AAPL in order to make up for losses in other investments...temporarily to please customer's portfolios. What better stock to shift money off the table than the world's largest company? (ok, I realize Saudi Aramco just surpassed to take the top spot. Inflation? Apple product buyers will buy before food and rent. As a former big telecom IT engineer for 20 yrs, I've personally managed large scale ordering systems. You would be surprised how many times pre-orders flow in like a fire hose exactly at 3 am ET when the floodgates are opened to be the first in line for a $1,000 phone. Pre-orders, not orders.

  • 103875312 OWL : below USD150 is a good buy

  • 绚丽的陈迪光 : Good

  • Ali mama : wonder how many APPLE PC affected by the recent "China Orders Government, State Firms to Dump Foreign PCs
Beijing aims to drive foreign PCs out of government, SOEs Campaign could kick out at least 50 million foreign-made PCs" .  worse still, CHINA may even ban APPLE products as a whole, should US continues to arm twist CHINA to compromise its relationship with RUSSIA.

  • Chatterbox MooOP Red__Bull: Yeah their upgrades on each generation always have people's attention even though iphone sales have slowed due to couple of reasons. Btw that's crazy that people go for pre-orders at 3 am undefinedundefined

  • Chatterbox MooOP chicago4evashiiiit: Apple is really a talented company undefined Let's see how it will perform when the market is unstable undefinedundefinedundefined

  • steady Pom pipi : If you are a long-term investor, short-term stock price fluctuations do not affect long-term investments. the important thing is to buy the right stocks.
