OrangeBanana : My biggest takeaway from the course was learning about market cycles which was something that I've used subconsciously but never took the time to fully understand it.
In the first half of 2021, my favourite stock pick was brokerage stocks namely $Futu Holdings Ltd (FUTU.US)$ and $UP Fintech (TIGR.US)$ as I had a strong inclination that these companies were going to massively outperform their earnings with the whole Wallstreetbets saga as well as Covid-19 causing a huge influx of new investors looking for a 2nd stream of income and jumping on the economic recovery. It was a particularly successful holding especially as I bought them during the February tech stock correction, causing them to be my best performing holdings.
atelophobia : Time in holding is more critical than timing the market. More often after hours of research, beginner might miss the share by 1 to 2 pips bid afterwhich the share just trend up. Stay focus on your conviction
