- Turkish Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan Said on Thursday That the Additional Monetary Tightening Delivered in March, a 500-Point Rate Hike to 50%, Fostered Confidence in the Lira and Bolstered Foreign Reserves.

Speaking at a Briefing to Present the Bank's Quarterly Inflation Report, Karahan Said the Bank Will Tighten Its Monetary Policy Stance IF a Significant and Persistent Deterioration in Inflation Is Foreseen.
