Easy Life Holdings: Former director Gao Feng still failed to repay the remaining debt of about HK$20.36 million

Easy Life Holdings announced that on January 17, 2023, Xintu Group Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Japanese company, and Mr. Gao Feng, a former director of the Company, signed a revised agreement on the repayment agreement. Based on this, Mr. Gao agreed to repay approximately HK$21,990,000 of the outstanding principal amount under the loan before 31 December 2023 in accordance with the repayment schedule. As of December 31, 2023, Xintu has collected a total amount of approximately HK$2,570,000 from Mr. Gao as part of the outstanding debt under the revised repayment agreement. As at 31 December 2023, the outstanding debt (including accrued interest) under the revised repayment agreement was approximately HK$20,365,000. The company has been actively communicating with Mr. Gao and seeking repayment from him. Despite numerous claims by the Company, Mr. Gao was still unable to repay the outstanding debts under the revised repayment agreement on the date of this announcement. The Company will continue to maintain communication with Mr. Gao with a view to reaching an agreement on the latest repayment schedule for the outstanding debt. Meanwhile, the Company is consulting its Hong Kong legal adviser on how to recover Mr. Gao's outstanding debts under the revised repayment agreement.
