According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in October, commercial residential sales prices in 70 large and medium-sized cities declined month-on-month, and the number of cities increased slightly. Commercial residential sales prices in various tier cities declined month-on-month, with mixed ups and downs over the previous year. In October, sales prices of newly built commercial residential homes in first-tier cities changed month-on-month from flat to 0.3% month-on-month. Among them, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen fell 0.4%, 0.7%, and 0.5%, respectively, and Shanghai rose 0.2% month-on-month; second-hand residential homes changed from 0.2% month-on-month to a decrease of 0.8%, with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen falling 1.1%, 0.8%, and 0.5% month-on-month respectively. Sales prices of newly built commercial residential homes in second-tier cities fell 0.2% month-on-month, and the decline was 0.1 percentage points narrower than the previous month; second-hand homes fell 0.5% month-on-month, the same decline as last month. Sales prices of newly built commercial homes and second-hand homes in third-tier cities fell 0.5% and 0.6% month-on-month, respectively, and increased 0.2 and 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, respectively. In October, out of 70 large and medium-sized cities, sales prices of newly built commercial homes and second-hand homes declined month-on-month in 56 and 67 cities, respectively, all up 2 from the previous month.
