According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on August 14, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to launch a 337 investigation (investigation code: 337-TA-1370) on specific power converter modules and computing systems (Computational Power Converter Modules and Computing Systems Involving the Same). On July 12, 2023, the US Vicor Corporation of Andover, MA filed a 337 investigation application with the US ITC, claiming that the product exported, imported, and sold in the US infringed its intellectual property rights (US Patent No. 9,166,481, 9,516,761, 10,199,950) and requested the US ITC to issue a limited exclusion order or injunction. Companies such as Delta Electronics, Hon Hai Precision Co., Ltd., and Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. were listed as defendants.
